Body weights changes in alloxan-induced diabetic rats when treated with EMZSB during 21 days of treatment. Values were presented as mean ± SEM (n = 6); statistics employed was two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey's multiple comparison test. $p < 0.05 when compared with normal control; *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 when compared with diabetic control. Diabetic rats treated with EMZSB 250 mg kg−1 showed a significant bodyweight gain on the day 21st.
