Location map of the study area is illustrated on an aridity map of ICARDA (2010) where the area is falling in the hyper-arid zone. The main basins were elucidated through Landsat image (LC8). Three photos (a, b, c) clarify the continuous supply of freshwater from Nubian Sandstone Aquifer since 1868 until present.
